Delivery Costs
Delivery is free of charge and we deliver in the UK only.
All orders will be delivered within 28 days (but usually sooner). Occasionally, however, we may experience problems with availability. In these circumstances you will be notified of any delays and asked whether you wish to proceed with the order. Order confirmation will be sent to you via email within 2 working days of the order being placed.
Packaging:
Your Wellyhog will come to you carefully packaged in a rather large box. Our aim is to keep the Wellyhog well protected whilst it’s in transit, but the upside of this is a really robust large box for you to use afterwards. We’d be really pleased if rather than putting the box in the bin or sending for recycling, you are able to keep it and make it into a dressing up trunk, rocket or spaceship – the choice is yours!!
Returns Policy:
Your Wellyhog is handmade and ensuring the quality of your product is very important to us. Should your Wellyhog arrive damaged, or if you are not completely satisfied with the quality, please return it to us in its original packaging and unused
Any refunds will be returned using the original payment method, within seven working days of receipt of the faulty Wellyhog.
Inspecting your order
Please inspect each Wellyhog when your order arrives, and note any damaged or missing items on the delivery receipt. Then give us a ring and we'll send you a replacement.
How to return a faulty Wellyhog:
Please email us immediately at customer@wellyhog.com - and we’ll send you details of how to return your faulty Wellyhog.
We are not responsible for damages caused by incorrect use, handling, or abuse of the item. Upon receipt of the faulty Wellyhog we will send you a replacement, unless a refund is requested at the time of the returns request. Wellyhog Limited cannot be held liable for losses of any returned Wellyhog and will only issue credit/replacement once the returned box is in our possession.
How big is the Wellyhog?
The Wellyhog has been designed so that it should fit through all outside doors. However we are realistic enough to know that many settings operate in old buildings, not made to take wheelchairs, let along Wellyhogs.
Before ordering your Wellyhog we would recommend you measure your door to check.
The dimensions for the Wellyhog are:
- 830mm wide
- 700mm high
- 1000mm long
Is it delivered flat pack or ready assembled?
The Wellyhog will be delivered to you ready assembled with all but the wheels in place. This is to ensure it is as robust as we can make it. A simple Phillips screwdriver is all you’ll need to complete the job, and about ten minutes of your time. As long as you can turn a screwdriver you are fully capable of doing the job!
Can it really stay outside all year?
The timber that we use is treated so it can withstand the British weather. Like garden furniture, it will undoubtedly wear more if outside all the time, but will certainly survive!
Can children move it?
Absolutely. The Wellyhog is able to be moved by children, even over rough surfaces such as grass. Help would probably be required going up steps or through tight doorways. The Wellyhog should always be used under adult supervision.
Is it a toy in its own right?
No, it is a piece of furniture. Whilst we’ve tried to make the Wellyhog fun for the children to interact with, it is definitely not to be used as a toy and should always be used under adult supervision.
